Teaching Guidelines Seminar
This two-day workshop focuses on teaching EFL to young learners. It includes introduction to teaching EFL in Japan, classroom management, lesson planning and practical genetic activities suitable for young learners.At the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
- identify which teaching methodology is suitable for students,
- organize and structure a lesson according to lesson objectives,
- change generic activities suitable in class, and
- create interactive activities which promotes student talking time.
Advanced Teacher Training
This is another two-day training-workshop focusing on teaching EFL to intermediate and advanced learners. It includes introduction to advanced and business English one-on-one and small group lessons, lesson planning specifically based on four skills, and phonology.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify and structure a lesson according to learners' needs
- create activities that promote active learning
- have effective strategies to keep students engaged
- discuss the basics of phonology
- create lessons specifically based on four skills
Teaching Techniques for EFL Classes
This workshop discusses the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and how it is used as a basis for creating EFL activities.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- know what activities are suitable for students depending on what students excel at
- create their own set of generic activities to be used in various lessons
English Grammar and Phonology Workshops
These workshops review teachers about English vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Fundamental rules and principles are discusses as common grammar errors are addresses.
